Founded in 2005 by Mark de Reus, the firm's work across tropical, mountain, coastal, and rural environments includes luxury resorts and high-end residential projects that seek to tell the stories inherent to each landscape and client.

Ours is an approach free of stylistic rigidity. Instead, we create a vision aligned to each client, cultivating the distinctive character of each project through its relationship to the land, its culture, and its history. The result is a design that illuminates its surroundings and reflects an indelible sense of place, at once connected to the past and fully engaged with the present.

Over the course of our practice, we've partnered with award-winning design firms and world-renowned artists to realize our projects. The final design of a home, resort, or building never emerges from a single vision or theory, and there are many contributing influences embedded in the built work.
